The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation designed and launched The Unified Calendar of Educational Events to inform students, parents, teachers, heads of educational organizations of various types, and methodologists about educational events of all-Russian, interregional and international levels held in the Russian Federation. The Calendar, which will help to plan and participate in educational activities, will be formed and updated quarterly throughout the year.
“In the Year of Teachers and Mentors, the Ministry of Education of Russia continues to actively work on creating convenient services designed to benefit literally every participant in educational relations. The Unified Calendar will make it possible to promptly inform students and the entire teaching community about key events in education and involve them in a variety of activities, up-to-date information about which is now stored and structured in one place”, said Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.
Among the organizers of the events placed in the Unified Calendar are teacher training universities of the Ministry of Education of Russia, as well as classical universities, in particular, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Higher School of Economics (HSE University). The organizers also include federal and regional public authorities and all-Russian public organizations, such as the Russia – Land of Opportunity autonomous non-profit organization, the Russian Society “Znanie”, the All-Russian Public and State Movement of Children and Youth “Movement of the First”.
The service contains brief information about the educational event, date and time, organizers, category of participants, number of remaining places for participants, as well as links to registration and remote connection.
The operator of the Unified Calendar of Educational Events is the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia.
