The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia are taking part in the international conference “Professional Development of Managerial and Teaching Staff in the Context of Education Transformation: Current Trends and Methods” held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, these days.
The conference is organized by the State Scientific and Methodological Center for Retraining and Professional Development of Teachers and Managers of Higher Education under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Vocational Education of Uzbekistan.
Speaking at the conference, Pavel Kuzmin, Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia, introduced basic elements of the Russian educational system and key vectors for the development of additional professional education of teaching and managerial staff.
“Special attention is given to building an effective model of interstate cooperation in the field of professional development of teaching and management personnel, the development of a system of continuous support for teachers. Our joint task is the exchange and dissemination of the most effective pedagogical practices,” he said.
“We are very pleased to see a delegation from Russia among the conference participants. Our efforts should have the same direction, address the best practices of good neighborly cooperation, open up opportunities for new projects,” said Shamsiddin Sharapov, an honorary educator, one of the founders of staff training for higher education in Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia and the State Scientific and Methodological Center for Retraining and Professional Development of Teachers and Managers of Higher Education under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Vocational Education of Uzbekistan signed a cooperation agreement.
The signing of the agreement marked the beginning of cooperation in the field of professional development of teachers and administrators of higher education institutions.
Aleksey Blaginin, Director of the Department for Training, Professional Development and Social Security of Educational Workers of the Ministry of Education of Russia, took part in the meeting held in Tashkent.
The parties discussed the implementation of joint programs and projects, activities and systematic exchange of experience and best practices of the educational systems of Uzbekistan and Russia.
