The Academy of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation took part in the International Forum for Ministers of Education “Shaping the Future” held in Kazan on June 7-9, 2023, at the Bashir Rameyev Technopark. Arranged by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Forum became one of the biggest events of the Year of Teachers and Mentors proclaimed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
The agenda of the Forum focused on the achievements and best practices of Russian national sovereign system of education, as well as the prospects of cooperation with foreign countries in the field of education.
The Forum was attended by Ministers of Education and delegations from over 30 countries, foreign ambassadors, representatives of Russian federal executive bodies, and university rectors.
Flagship projects in the sphere of professional development of teachers and managers in education were presented at the stand of the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia. The participants were especially interested in the Academy’s digital ecosystem of additional professional education and the Library of digital educational content.
Using digital tools of the stand, visitors could test four interactive simulators developed in the Academy: “Training for Vocational Education Programs Development”, “Interactive Simulator of Professional Competences”, a simulator for classroom teachers “Learning to Be a Class Teacher”, and “Simulation Center of Self-Diagnostics”.
Educational films Electric Power Industry of Russia and Our Space created by the Academy’s team with the help of augmented and virtual reality technologies were demonstrated in the “Technologies” zone of the stand.
During the meetings with the guests of the stand, Pavel Kuzmin, Rector of the Academy, said that the presented resources could be adapted for the specifics and needs of the educational systems of the countries participating in the Forum.
