The Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia and the National Academy of Education Administration of China discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of professional development of educators

The team of the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia took part in an online meeting with the National Academy of Education Administration (NAEA) of China, which implements the development of human resources potential of teachers and managers in education in China.

During the meeting held on September 26, the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia presented its advanced solutions in the field of professional development of teachers and education administrators. Denis Molokhov, Head of the Department for introduction of modern pedagogical technologies, organization of events of interregional and international cooperation, presented the Library of digital educational content. Ksenia Tabarovskaya, Deputy Head of the Department for Further Vocational Education, spoke on training programs aimed at professional development of teachers and managers. Elena Gribova, Head of the Department for Development of Modern and Safe Digital Educational Environment, presented the Academy’s learning management ecosystem and the system of automated certification of school principals.

The National Academy of Education Administration was represented by Prof. Dr. Yarong Liu, Director of Research Center for Leadership & Management Development, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meiying Jing, Director of International Cooperation Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Xiaoxiao Qu, Deputy Director of Strategic Planning Office, Ms. Zhen Guo, Program Manager of International Cooperation Office, and Ms. Jiaxin Pang, Program Research Manager of Research Center for Leadership and Management Development. They spoke about the approaches to the development of human resources in China’s education system, as well as the country’s system of professional development and certification of pedagogical and administrative staff.

The parties agreed to continue interaction and to study the presented solutions in more detail in order to identify promising areas of cooperation.
