Following the results of the international meeting held at the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia on November 21, 2023, a decision was made to create the International Consortium for the development of additional professional education of teachers and managers in education. Representatives of Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus took part in the round table “Professional training and development of managerial and pedagogical staff of educational organizations: realities in the current context”.
In his welcoming speech, Denis Gribov, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, emphasized that the experience of such a representative professional community from different countries opens new opportunities for meaningful and effective communication and facilitates the exchange of knowledge and innovations.
“Work in the format of the International Friendship Club is a proven and effective tool of international communication, which has been undeservedly forgotten and needs to be revived. Nowadays it opens new opportunities for the development of national systems of continuous professional development of educators and serves as a driver to improve the quality of their work”, said Maxim Kostenko, Acting Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia.
Meiying Jing, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the National Academy of Educational Administration of the People’s Republic of China, and Xiaoxiao Qu, Deputy Director of the Strategic Planning Department, invited colleagues to visit China and learn about the experience of Chinese educational organizations.
The guests of the meeting highly appreciated its content and relevance and agreed to expand cooperation, including regular face-to-face and remote exchange of experience in different areas of work.
