A new issue of the Academy’s “Time for Education” magazine was released on June 16, 2023. The central topic of the issue is the implementation of the project “School of the Ministry of Education of Russia”, which is an effective mechanism for creating a unified educational space in the country. The project entails large-scale work to create conditions for each schoolchild to receive a quality education regardless of the region of residence and educational organization.
In her column, Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Tatiana Vasilieva writes about the mission and current goals of regional institutes for education development. Pavel Kuzmin, Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia, presents an exemplary model of such institutes, which will effectively solve the priority tasks in the field of education.
One of the articles in the issue is dedicated to the IV All-Russian Forum for Young Teachers “Teacher: Profession. Vocation. Art” held in spring 2023 in the city of Gatchina within The Year of Teachers and Mentors. The events of the Forum were aimed to emphasize the social importance of the teaching profession chosen by thousands of young people from all over Russia.
A series of articles covers the experience of the educational system in the Tomsk Region. The materials are based on interviews with the Head of the Department of Education of the Tomsk Region Irina Grabtsevich, Rector of the Tomsk Regional Institute of Professional Development and Retraining of Educators Oksana Zamyatina, Vice-Rector for innovation and project work of the Tomsk Regional Institute of Professional Development and Retraining of Educators Yulia Chashchina and Rector of the Tomsk State Teacher Training University Andrey Makarenko.
For the first time, the “Time of Education” magazine contains adapted materials in English, including the educational VR/AR film Our Space created by the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia and available for free use.
