In the Year of Teachers and Mentors, employees of the Ministry of Education of Russia and its subordinate organizations were awarded medals of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, honorary diplomas and letters of commendation from the President of the Russian Federation and other awards. The ceremony took place at the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia, where Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov presented the awards.
Medals of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” were given to First Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Alexander Bugaev; Deputy Head of the Department of Training, Professional Development and Social Security of Educational Workers of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Vladimir Bokov; Vice-Rector for Public Relations at Moscow Teacher Training State University Tatiana Vladimirova; Vice-Rector for Development, Head of the Department of Theology at Moscow Teacher Training State University Vasily Strakhov.
Letters of commendation from the President of the Russian Federation were presented to Maxim Kostenko, Head of the Department of State Policy and Management in General Education of the Ministry of Education of Russia; Natalia Kochetkova, Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in Upbringing, Additional Education and Recreation for Children of the Ministry of Education of Russia; Pavel Kuzmin, Rector of the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia; and Ivan Tarakanov, Counselor to the International Education Center “Interdom”.
For high professionalism in the performance of important state tasks, honorary diplomas from the President of the Russian Federation were given to Victor Neumyvakin, Head of the Department of State Policy in Secondary Vocational Education and Vocational Training of the Ministry of Education of Russia; Sergei Zheltukhin, Leading Counselor to the Ministry of Education of Russia; and Natalia Sklyarova, Vice-Rector of Moscow Teacher Training State University.
The honorary title “Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation” was awarded to Svetlana Ivanova, Scientific Advisor of the Institute for Educational Development Strategy of the Russian Academy of Education, for her services in scientific activities and many years of conscientious work.
