The tent camp for future teachers “Nastavnik” (“Mentor”) located at the Center for Innovative Pedagogical Technologies of the All-Russian Children’s Center “Smena” in Krasnodar Territory took the third shift of participants. Teacher training college students under the age of 17, who take part at the “#PEDKOMPAS” convention, arrived at the camp on August 3, 2023.
New camp residents were greeted by Roman Khevsokov, Head of the Center for Innovative Pedagogical Technologies.
“From now on, you will become a team, and we hope that all acquaintances you make here will develop into a real invaluable friendship for many years to come. You are the best children of our country and the pride of our Center”, he said at the welcoming ceremony.
“Nastavnik” brings together students of teacher training colleges from all over the country. For two weeks the participants will be immersed in the atmosphere of pedagogical creativity and new discoveries. During the first two shifts 100 teenagers have already learned the basics of teaching profession, were engaged in sports, tourism and local history activities. They met with leading teachers and experts in the field of education and found new friends from different parts of Russia.
The “#PEDKOMPAS” gathering of students is held as part of the Year of Teachers and Mentors. The event is organized by the All-Russian Children’s Center “Smena” together with the Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia.
