“I am very pleased that this year one of the themes of the contest was dedicated to the Year of Teachers and Mentors. Your essays are so touching! Every line, every word is imbued with gratitude to the teacher. In other essays you thank your country, its history, your parents and even your classmates. This is very good, because gratitude to each other is the most important thing that unites us, Russians,” he said in his welcoming speech.

The federal stage of the All-Russian Essay Contest in 2023 received 397 written pieces from pupils in grades 4-11 and students of secondary vocational education organizations of 88 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The topics traditionally focus on anniversaries in literature, art, science and Russian history.

The Academy of the Ministry of Education of Russia congratulates the winners, their parents and teachers!
